Jackie Brown Review

Jackie Brown is the 1997 film by Quentin Tarantino adapted from the novel Rum Punch by Elmore Leonard.  The film tells the tale of flight attendant Jackie Brown who gets caught smuggling gun money for her boss on a flight by the feds.  The agents who catch her want her to turn on her boss which puts Jackie in a risky situation.  Should she gamble with her life at a chance for her freedom, or just do the time and not risk it.  Jackie meets Max Cherry, her bondsman, who gives her hope, and a better plan than going with the feds.
I really enjoyed this film, one of the more underated by Tarantino, which is why I chose to discuss it here today.  I don't want to give any spoilers so I won't delve much more into the story but, the writing, and direction, plus the great acting by this star-studded ensemble cast make Jackie Brown well worth checking out if you haven't seen it.  For more info on this film, I've included the trailer for the movie below.
